Firstly, make water your best friend. At least 8 glasses of water are needed. If possible, carry a water bottle with you and remember to drink at least once every 30 min.  Go for minimal make-up. During summer less make-up is best and natural looks are the best. If you use foundation then also apply face powder with SPF to avoid patchy skin. Also, to protect your lips always use a gloss or a lip balm to make your lips fresher. Eye make is something which should be very much avoided in summers.

Apply sunscreen generously and in every area of your body. Do not neglect areas such as the ears, nose, and lips as they are also prone to sun damage. When sunning your feet, do not limit the application of sunscreen to the feet or legs but rather apply in your whole body. This is because radiation bounces on almost everything from Windows to grass back into your body.

Avoid the hottest parts of the day. Protect your skin from the sun, a lifetime of sun exposure can cause wrinkles, age spots increase the risk of skin cancer. Seek shade by avoiding the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when the sun’s rays are strongest. Also, cover yourself with protective clothing such as wide-brimmed hats.

Eating plenty of leafy greens this summer such as broccoli, spinach, cabbage cauliflower, and watercress are the top cleansing foods that will help you to protect the skin. Also, avocados are loaded with Vitamin E, which protects our skin from damage and is also a great source of essential fats to nourish and soothe the skin. Other good sources of healthy fats include nuts and seeds, oily fish and coconut oil.
