Mudiwa shines at Zim Hip-hop awards
The weekend was on fire with the sparkle and glamour of Zim hip-hop Awards’ at Woods Restaurant and Bar in Harare. Despite the power cut that delayed the start of the ninth edition of Zim Hip-hop awards show.
The show was a success, with the huge turnout with artistes who delivered wondrous performances. The event, which runs under the theme, “Culture over everything” was this year bigger and better and had fewer controversies.
However, Aldrin Harrison, (Beefy) organised the show. Local hip-hop rapper Noble Stylz, real name Prince Butawo, who cruised flawlessly on stage hosted the glitz and glamour affairs.
Some of the winners included T-Mula, King 98, Ti Gonzi, Phreshy, Jamal, Stunner and Mudiwa. Also, King 98, Nasty C and Laylizzy proved their strength after beating Ti Gonzi and Ishan of the “Kure-Kure” fame on the best collaboration category, which shocked and surprised many people.
However, Beefy later honored the late Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi with an honorary drum. He also praised the show and thanked the organizers.
