Zozibini Tunzi crowned Miss Universe
South African beauty queen Zozibini Tunzi has crowned the 2019 Miss Universe on Sunday night.
Ms. Tunzi appeared top in the contest after impressing the judges and fans through the different rounds with different outfits.
Miss Puerto Rico, Madison Anderson, and Miss Mexico, Sofía Aragón emerged as runner-ups. During question time Ms. Tunzi said the most important thing that girls need to learn is leadership.
“It’s something that has been lacking in young girls and women for a very long time. Not because we don’t want to but because of what society has labeled women to be. However, she went on to consolidate the letters in her national costume outfit that also featured the South African flag colors
Ninety women from across the far corners of the known universe gathered for the crowning of a new intergalactic queen. The 68th annual Miss Universe competition was once again hosted by soup-strainer Steve Harvey, Olivia Culpo (Paradise City) and Vanessa Lachey serving as backstage correspondents throughout the night.
